Two hive boxes with 35mm thick walls, the extra insulation/thermal mass is a must for hives in Sydney or lower. 
Stainless steel split plates, these make splitting hives simple and easy, not to mention safer for your bees. By preventing honey spillage pests are less likely to affect your hive.
Roof, essential for keeping  a hive dry. A dry hive stays warmer and is healthier!
Entrance funnel, lets bees better control airflow in and out of hive, allows bees to come and go more easily, helps prevent predation from assassin bugs, lizards, and phorid fly.
